Walter Mikac recognised for his work in keeping children safe

in News

Our Founding Patron, Walter Mikac, was invested with an AM (Member of the Order of Australia) on 2 May 2018 by the Governor of New South Wales, His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), at Government House on Sydney.

Walter was recognised for his work to keep children safe, and as a gun control advocate.

Twice a year the Governor holds Investiture Ceremonies involving the presentation of honours and awards to citizens of NSW included on the Australia Day and Queen’s Birthday Honours lists.
