The Alannah & Madeline Foundation relies on the generous support of our dedicated volunteers. Volunteering to charities is an extremely rewarding experience. Every contribution helps us keep children safe from violence.
Our large base of volunteers generously give their time to help with office administration, Buddy Bag packing and at our events held throughout the year. Being a volunteer for charity empowers people and brings communities together.
One of our volunteers, Jane says, "I had always been touched by the sentiment of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation and think they do fantastic work, particularly for children who have no control over their circumstances. So when I had a chance to volunteer for charity with the Alannah & Madeline foundation I jumped at it. It is a really well organised event and what I loved most about the night was the fantastic feeling of everyone getting together and having fun."
The entertainment was great, the celebrities were very warm and friendly - it didn't really feel like work at all. I would highly recommend others volunteer for Starry Starry Night, especially if you are looking to have a fun night out, while giving time to this very worthwhile cause.
Volunteering for our charity our fundraising events is a rewarding way to support the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
