Group Fundraising

Whether you’re a group of friends, a sports team or a book club you can fundraise and make a difference in your local community. It’s rewarding and easy to do!

Local sports club fundraisingIt may be at your first session of the season, at your next match or at your end of year performance – there are so many ways you can add a group fundraising element into your next activity. As a group you can incorporate a FUN fundraising activity into your yearly calendar.

Fundraising is a great team building exercise and an amazing way to give back.

Simply make your uniform purple by spray painting your hair, add a donation tin to your canteen or reception area, challenge your coach to competition. The options are endless.

Groups and teams are fantastic fundraisers and by simply harnessing the support of your existing network, can make a great difference in the lives of children impacted by violence and bullying.

Fundraising Steps:

Choose your activity – car wash, trivia night, wear purple day – the options are endless!

Scope your event – set yourself a budget, target, location and date.

Make it official – contact to gain approval and receive your Letter of Authority to Fundraise.

Promote your group fundraising –share your activity with your team members and community. Ask your networks to support you (you’ll be surprised how generous people can be).

FUNdraise – this is the fun part. Host your activity, have fun, raise awareness, collect donations and take lots of photos!

Share your success – get in touch with us and let us know how you went. We love to hear all about your fundraising activities. We provide each of our amazing fundraisers with a Certificate of Appreciation and love to share your stories with our supporters.
