Get your workplace involved in making a difference

Business Buddies

Make a difference in your workplace and support children affected by violence.

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation helps support the lives of vulnerable children.

Your workplace can help make a difference.

Whatever your workplace environment is, whether it be a large organisation or you work for yourself, there are many ways you can give back to the community. Hold an annual fundraiser, donate a percentage of sales, or start a casual Friday’s fund. These are just a few ways your colleagues, clients and customers can help make a difference for children affected by violence and bullying. Start your fundraising journey so we can help support your efforts.

Gold coin donations for fitness classes

GrowFit is a business offering health and fitness classes to preschools/kinders in more than 60 childcare centres across NSW. For two weeks GrowFit ran a campaign collecting gold coins from participating child care centres, parents and trainers and raised $2,000.

Donate proceeds from your business

Pink Lotus Candles have been a supporter of the Foundation for the last 12 months, they donate a $1 for every candles sold.

Display donation tins in your store

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery has been a proud supporter of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation since 2015 when they donate a $1 from all Hop for Hope coins in addition to having donation tins on their counters.

Hold classes to raise funds

mhealth held a pilates-athon (that’s 24 hours of continuous pilates!) and raised money by holding a mega raffle. “Our team loves getting on board with likeminded people and business. We value giving back to the community and keeping kids safe from violence”. Bill McTigue and Steve Ajzenman, mhealth directors.
