Fundraise to support our work!

Working with our community to make a difference

Run Melbourne

This year saw the first Team Alannah & Madeline Foundation take on the challenge of Run Melbourne on 29 July.

Thirty one dedicated supporters trained for months before pulling on their running shoes and hitting the streets of Melbourne to raise vital funds for the Foundation. Collectively the Team raised an amazing $25,000.

We also had our very own enthusiastic (and loud) cheer squad supporting the team over the finish line.

In addition, Silvio Marinelli, Partner at Highview Accounting, raised an incredible $12,000 through his Run Melbourne half marathon.

“It’s very inspiring to be a part of the team and to know that my efforts are going to assist your amazing Foundation. I’m truly honoured to play my small part,” Silvio said. Not only did Silvio double his fundraising from the previous year’s half marathon, he is now part of our team of Child Champions, pledging $100 every month.

Thank you Silvio! If you’re in Melbourne on 15 November, Highview Accounting will again be supporting the Foundation by hosting a trivia night. If you’re interested in attending the trivia night – or need an accountant - please contact Brodie Crowther via

We love working with our Businesses and Community Buddies who are so committed to making a difference!

Push Up Tour

Throughout July our supporters took on the gruelling challenge of the Push Up Tour, completing one push up for every kilometre of the Tour de France – 3,329 push ups in total!

Push Up Tour supporters raised in excess of $32,000, with total funds being split between the Foundation and Fabruary.

Your organisation – and participation – is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Creative community buddies

Buddies right across the country have been creative and generous in their support of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation by hosting events to raise funds and awareness to keep children safe from violence.

From schools hosting Buddy Days, to Chelsea Basketball hosting their 7th annual Purple Round with players, spectators, food and the stadium all covered in our purple, to Dance Sensations raising more than $4,000 from their mid year dance showcase, while Daniel Oldaker ‘Dandyman’ presented a circus comedy show and Lachlan Ireland and Nina Krapf ran the Gold Coast Marathon.

These are just a few of the creative and wonderful ways our Community Buddies have raised their voices and inspired others to support kids. Thank you.
