Starry Starry Night 2010
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation has celebrated its thirteenth Starry Starry Night at Crown. The star-studded event, featuring over 70 celebrities hosting tables, raised in excess of $590,000 - in addition to $1 million donated by Target through the proceeds from the sale of red reusable bags in their stores nationally to support the Foundation's work, keeping children safe from violence.
The starry event included celebrity performances by personalities not normally associated with music. Stand-outs included the Bondi Rescue boys who performed I Will Survive from Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rachael Finch who sung Fever by Peggy Lee and Nova's Ash Williams who perfomed a memorable rendition of I go to Rio from The Boy from Oz.
